STATUTES OF THE ASSOCIATION The name

AMIE, Matematika Arabako irakasle Elkartea-Association of Teachers of Mathematics Teachers and Alava, it is a non-profit association, pursuant to the provisions of Organic Law 1 / 2002 of March 22, Regulatory Law Association and Law 7 / 2007 of June 22, Euskadi Associations, approved by the Basque Parliament, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10.13 of the Statute of Autonomy for the Basque Country.


The purpose of the Partnership are:
a) Disseminate the presence of mathematics in all areas (cultural, social, scientific ....)
b) Establish relationships with other associations of similar purposes, especially integrated the FESPM.
c) Conduct studies, criticism and proposals for improving and updating the curriculum for each educational level.
d) Promote the upgrading of educational Mathematics Teacher
e) Promote the development of research in mathematics education
f) Facilitate the meeting and exchange of experience among teachers of different educational levels to bring mathematics taught in them.
g) To encourage a taste for mathematics students.




To achieve these goals will be carried out, after fulfilling the legal requirements, the following activities:
- Training courses, regular seminars and conferences aimed at teachers, students and society at large: History of mathematics, new technologies, graphics and animations, play activities, applications to other sciences, best practices ...
- Activities aimed at promoting students' motivation and participation (Olympics mathematics, problem solving contest ...)
- Organization of working groups and / or development of resources by topics of interest
- Exhibition materials.
- Publication of magazines, website and newsletters.
- Organization of a documentation and resource center. AMIE
